Nikatia Lastrapes

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on, Friday, June 24, 2005, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Nikatia Marie ""Kee"" Lastrapes, 7, who died Saturday, June 18, 2005 in Arnaudville. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Nikatia loved art and eating. ?She had a very playful spirit, especially when riding her bike. Survivors include her mother, Antoinette Lastrapes of Arnaudville; her maternal grandparents, Marjorie Lastrapes of Arnaudville and Anthony Roberts of Leonville; her paternal grandparents, Cheryl Riggs Tolliver of Arnaudville and Clarence Pickney of Opelousas; four sisters, Brittany, Raven, Dakosha and Alie Lastrapes, all of Arnaudville. She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Riggs; her paternal grandfather, Clarence Riggs; maternal great grandparents, Marie Alice Lastrapes and Chester Richard, and Mary and Lonnie Stein. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 4 PM ~ 10 PM on Thursday and continue at 8 AM on Friday until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
