Mary Lee Ledet

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, October 16, 2020, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Mary Lee Ledet, 76, who passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Friday. Rev. Ugochukwu Jerome Cletus SSJ will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Kelsey Mason and Ebonie Joseph. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, and dancing to Zydeco music. She also loved to cook for family dinners. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be remembered for all the wonderful meals she prepared for her family and her kindness that she gave anyone she ever met. She is survived by her husband, of 56 years, Pierre Herman Ledet of Breaux Bridge; three sons, Herman (Danelle) Ledet Jr. of Lafayette, Clayton (Ericka) Ledet of St. Martinville, and Erick Ledet of Breaux Bridge; four daughters, Almina (Clyde) Ledet of Cecilia, Cordelia (Donald) Clement of Breaux Bridge, Debra (Joseph) Robertson of St. Martinville, and Florence (Mickey) Mason of Breaux Bridge; three brothers, Samuel (Mary) Lewis of Houston, TX, Henry Lewis of Henderson, and Shelton Lewis of Henderson; five sisters, Mary Agnes Fontenette of Cecilia, Mary Jane Zenon of Breaux Bridge, Mary Alice Lewis of Henderson, Amy Batiste of Breaux Bridge, and Annie Mae Lewis of Cecilia; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Lewis, Sr.; two mothers, Almina Lewis and Anna Louise Lewis; two brothers, Wilbert Lewis, Sr. and Gilbert Lewis, Sr.; and her sister Mary Lou Davis. Pallbearers will be Dominick Ledet, Skyler Williams, Quentin Garrick, Johnathon Ledet, Damontrai Mason, and Donald Clement, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Herman Ledet Jr., Clayton Ledet, Erick Ledet, Samuel Lewis, Shelton Lewis, and Henry Lewis, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, 211 Berard St., Breaux Bridge, LA 70517, (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
