Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Marilyn Theriot Seneca, 67, who passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., at Pellerin Funeral Home in Henderson. A rosary will be recited on Friday evening. Fr. Donald Pousson will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Ashley Larson and Tennille Seneca. Gift Bearers will be Valek and Drake Seneca. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include her husband, Elmer J. Seneca; two sons, Michael Shane Seneca and wife, Amanda, and Dusty Anthony Seneca; one daughter, Melissa Seneca Grill and husband, Christopher; one brother, Fred Theriot; three sisters, Lydia Theriot Guidry, Lilly Guidry, and Thelma Domingue; and six grandchildren, Kendall and Ashley Larson, Tyler Grill, and Valek, Drake, and River Seneca. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Edith Guidry Theriot; and one brother, Harris Theriot. Pallbearers will be Mickey Seneca, Shane Seneca, Dusty Seneca, Nick Bouchereau, Kendall Larson, and Carl Seneca. Honorary pallbearers will be Valek, Drake, and River Seneca. Her family would like to extend special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice and Dr. Erick A. Salvatierra, for the compassionate care given to her during her time of need.
