Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Monday, February 9, 2015, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Lucy Daigle Guidry, 94, who passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge, LA. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Henderson from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 8:00 am until 9:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Sunday by Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert. Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Lucy enjoyed crocheting and crafts. She worked several years for Dr. Ernest Young and loved raising her farm animals. She is survived by her daughter, Priscilla G. Johnson and her husband, Wayne; her grandsons, Brent Taylor and his wife, Melanie and Jules Johnson and his wife, Amanda; her great-grandson, Philip Taylor; and her great-granddaughter, Cassidy Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Angelle Wyatt Daigle; her husband, Lester Guidry; and her brother, Vernon Daigle. Pallbearers will be Brent Taylor, Jules Johnson, Philip Taylor, Robert Daigle, Vernon Daigle Jr., and Wayne Johnson.
