Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Sunday, January 13, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Kyle Joseph Trahan, 28, who died on Friday, December 7, 2012. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 1:45 pm on Sunday. Rev. Allen Breaux will officiate at the Memorial Service. As a child, Kyle was known to be happy-go-lucky and always displayed a smile of innocence. He had many ambitions in life and as he grew older, he met many new friends who would become very close to him. He is survived by his father, Vince (Tina) Trahan of Port Allen; his mother, Kim (Henry "Buddy") O'Bryan of Kaplan; two daughters, Alexia Trahan (and her mother, Brittany) of Richmond, TX, and Kaydia Trahan of Alaska; his brother, Casey O'Bryan of Kaplan; three sisters, Britney Trahan of Port Allen, Ashley O'Bryan and Cassie O'Bryan, both of Kaplan; his paternal grandparents, Shirley Tauzin of Breaux Bridge and Gerald Trahan of Gueydan; his maternal grandfather, Carlis Vincent of New Iberia; his aunt, Vickie Arceneaux of Breaux Bridge; and his uncle, Kevin Vincent of New Iberia. He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother and step great grandfather who raised him, Estelle and Steve Stevens.
