Joycie Doucet

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Joycie Doucet, 56, who passed away on Monday, May 10, 2010 at Opelousas General Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery. Joycie received her B.S. in Business Administration from Southern University in Baton Rouge. She was a devout Catholic and lifelong parishioner of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Arnaudville. Survivors include her sister, Shirley Dollis and husband, Bernard, of New Orleans; her brothers, Joseph Doucet and wife, Casandra, of Houston, TX, and Norman Doucet, of Grand Coteau; and her close friend, Winsley Jones, of Arnaudville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Merman and Mathilda Davis Doucet. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home on Saturday from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
