BreauxBridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am, on Monday, November 26, 2012, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Joyce Granger Landreneau, 87, who passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 2:30 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, and continue at 8:00 am until 8:30 am on Monday. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Sunday by Deacon Marcel 'Butch' Hebert. Rev. Brad Guillory will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Tina Benoit, Michelle Trahan, and Rene Martin. Gift Bearers will be Katelyn Benoit and Alyna Martin. Interment will follow at Reed Cemetery in Mamou. Joyce was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She truly loved and adored her faithful companion, her dog, Candy. She is survived by two sons, Newton James (Marilyn Kay) Landreneau of Moss Bluff, and Vennie (Linda) Landreneau of Many; her daughter, Gwendolyn L. (Whitney) Granger of Breaux Bridge; her brother, Louis Granger of Lake Charles; her sister, Haddie Young of Texas; six grandchildren, Tina Benoit, Rene Martin, Jamie Granger, Michelle Trahan, Clint Landreneau, and Jay Landreneau; and nine great grandchildren, Katelyn Benoit, Peyton Benoit, Gage Trahan, Cole Trahan, Alyna Martin, Luke Martin, Evelyn Granger, Remi Landreneau, and Evan Landreneau. She is preceded in death by her husband, Evan Landreneau; her parents, Estelie and Ester Devillier Granger; and two sisters, Hazel McGee and Flada Fontenot. Pallbearers will be Clint Landreneau, Jay Landreneau, Jamie Granger, Mike Benoit, Jason Trahan, Greg Martin.
