Joseph Montet

Cecilia- Funeral services will be held at 11 a .m., on Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia, for Joseph Cyprien Montet, 79, who passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Evangeline Oaks Nursing Home in Carencro. Fr. Michael Delcambre will conduct the funeral service. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Mr. Montet enjoyed watching television and putting together all types of puzzles. Survivors include his wife, Florence A. Montet of Lafayette; three sons, Robert Montet (Vivian) of Carencro, Neil Montet (Tina) of Scott, and Chad Montet (Amy) of Carencro; three daughters, Brenda Quebedeaux (Aaron) of Arnaudville, Jackie Durio of Lafayette, and Tina Hebert (Dwayne) of Carencro; one sister, Eula Taylor of Lafayette; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Cyprien and Angelina Kidder Montet; one brother, Clarence Montet; one sister, Ella Guidry; and two nephews, Larry Taylor and Billy Guidry.
