New Iberia - A Gathering of Remembrance will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.at Pellerin Funeral Home, in New Iberia for Harvey Silvester Brannon, Sr., 68, ?who died Friday, May 16, 2008 in New Iberia. Born on April 11, 1940 in Leighton, Alabama, Harvey is the son of the late John and Essie Greenhill Brannon. He worked for the Bayou Bouef Electric Compnay and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife Betty Hon Brannon of New Iberia; his sons, Jeff Brannon, wife Tammy of New Iberia, Harvey Brannon, Jr. of New Iberia; his daughters, Jeanie Borden, husband Anthony of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Melissa Brannon of Berwick, Louisiana; his brother, Jack Brannon of Russellville, Alabama; his sister, Laura Flannagan of Tuscumbia, Alabama; 6 grandchildren. In addition to his parents Harvey was preceded in death by his brothers, Leman, Freeman and Fred Brannon; half brother, Johnny Brannom; half sister, Dessie Long.
