Elizabeth Latiolais

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Elizabeth "Calou" Latiolais, 67, who passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Fr. Keith Landry will conduct the services. Calou loved reading, cooking for her family, working on crossword puzzles and cajun dancing. She devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A blessing to all, her loving spirit will always be cherished. Survivors include her husband, Roy J. Latiolais; her sons, Roy "Copee" Latiolais, Jr. of Arnaudville, Henry Latiolais (Carla) of Carencro, and Derek Latiolais (Lori) of Lafayette; her daughters, Cynthia L. Hollier (Brad) of Lafayette, Deanna "DeeDee" Kidder of Arnaudville and Bertha L. Guidry (Rohde) of Breaux Bridge; her sisters, Della Mae Wyble and JoAnn K. Angelle (Simon, Sr.) both of Arnaudville; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Moise and Della Taylor Kidder; her brother, Lee Roy Kidder and her son-in-law, Ames Kidder. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 8:00 a.m.until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday. Pallbearers will be her sons, Roy "Copee" Latiolais, Jr., Henry Latiolais, Derek Latiolais; and Tibby Angelle, Raymond Kidder and Shannon Kidder. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
