Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Friday, February 12, 2016, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Donald Charles, 57, who passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 am until 10:15 on Friday, at Pellerin Funeral Home (Carver Street Chapel) in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 am on Friday. Rev. Bartomiej Jasilek will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Francine Lee and Sheryl Smith. Scriptures will be read by Willa Daiga. Gift Bearers will be Sharon Charles and Theresa Singleton. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Mr. Charles enjoyed spending time watching sports, especially his favorite teams the New Orleans Saints and San Antonio Spurs. He enjoyed cooking for the family and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving spouse, Shirley Lee Charles of Breaux Bridge; sons, Trevella Lee and Cameron Lee both of Breaux Bridge; father, Jules Charles; sisters, Theresa Singleton and husband Lambert of Henderson and Sharron Charles of Lafayette; and brothers, Steven Charles of Arnaudville and Dennis Charles of Carencro. He was preceded in death by mother, Elodie Charles; daughter, Bianca Davis; brothers, Danny Charles and Shelton Charles; and sisters, Emma Charles and Mary Jane Charles. Pallbearers will be Ryan Peters, Daniel Lee, Dennis Lee, Derick Lee, Tyrell Sam, Julious Charles, Schafer Charles, and Michael Charles. Honorary pallbearers will be Trevella Lee, Steven Charles, Dennis Charles, Alton Lee, Clifton Lee, and Willie Sam.
