Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, November 30, 2012, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Daniel Ryan 'Cat Food' Peltier , 47, who passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the funeral home beginning at 12:30 pm and will continue until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed at 1:30 pm. Deacon Marcel 'Butch' Hebert will officiate at the service. Daniel, fondly known to his family and friends as 'Cat Food,' was a member of a local hunting club in the Parks area. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and he especially loved cooking and camping with his family and friends. He enjoyed riding in his golf cart with his dog, Daisy, by his side. Daniel, a devoted and faithful fan of L.S.U. sports, enjoyed watching them play football and was well-known around town for his 'L.S.U.' decorated truck. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife, Karen Guidry Peltier of Parks; his son, Ryan Peltier of Parks; his parents, James Ren and Betty Lou Landry Peltier, of Parks; one brother, Travis Peltier and wife, Carla, of Arnaudville; and two sisters, Pamela Belaire and husband, Allen, and Sheila Camel and husband, Chucky, all of Breaux Bridge. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Viola Dupuis Peltier; and maternal grandparents, Remy and Etta Hebert Landry.
