C.J. Devillier

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 4, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for C. J. Devillier, 63, who died Friday, December 1, 2006 at his residence in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow in Breaux Bridge. C. J. worked for Pellerin Marble and Granite. He enjoyed listening to music and most of all visiting with family and friends. Survivors include his wife Geri Devillier of Breaux Bridge; son, Sean Devillier and his wife Sonia of Crowley; daughters, Rachael Bonin and her husband Jeffrey of New Iberia, Jody Devillier-Veillon of Lafayette, Michelle Sevigny and husband Duane of Breaux Bridge and Carla Landry and husband Brian of Parks; brothers, Louis Devillier of Cecilia and Jimmy Devillier of Lafayette; sisters, Vergie Pellegran of Arnaudville and Sophie Breaux of Breaux Bridge; and 12 grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, Clefe and Marie Berard Devillier; grandson, Matthew Angelle; brothers, Francis Devillier, Billy Devillier; sisters, Ellie Devillier and Louise Devillier. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 11:30 AM until 10:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday from 8:00 AM until time of service. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeff Bonin, Sean Devillier, Jason Aguillard, Duane Sevigny, Wayne Champagne, and Phillip Champagne. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
