Bienville Frederick

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 22, 2008, in Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel, in Cecilia, for Bienville Frederick, 94, who passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at his residence. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1, in Breaux Bridge. Pastor Bill Inman will conduct the service. Mr. Frederick was a carpenter for many years. ?He enjoyed fishing, picking pecans, and he loved to work. ?He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include two sons, Garland Frederick and his wife, Nancy, of Cecilia, and Norris Frederick and his wife, Phyllis ""Joan"", of Des Arc, MO; one daughter, Betty Latiolais and her husband, Joel, of Cecilia; 11 grandchildren, Jessica Seneca, Craig Latiolais, Veronica Wiford, Francine Dupre, Shane Latiolais, Carla Robin, Randy Frederick, Chantel LeBlanc, Carmen Lanclos, Chad Frederick, and Kelsey Frederick; 14 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ophelia LeBlanc Frederick; his parents, Anna and Sevigne Frederick Jr.; two brothers; and four sisters. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
