Opelousas - Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, on Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Our Savior's Church, located at the Opelousas Civic Center, 1638 Creswell Lane, Opelousas, LA, for Anna Rene Trahan, 11, who passed away on Monday, June 17, 2013, at Women's & Children's Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Our Savior's Church - Opelousas Civic Center, from 2 pm until 2:45 pm on Sunday, June 23, 2013. Pastors Eugene Reiszner, Scott Adams, and Bryan Barker will officiate at the Funeral service. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas. Anna attended Leonville Elementary School. She was very creative and artistic. Anna loved all animals and especially loved horseback riding; she also enjoyed hiking, and playing board and video games. She is survived by her father, Clifton Trahan of Opelousas; her mother, Debra Robin Trahan of Leonville; her brother, John Bernard of Leonville; three sisters, Judy (David Crozier) Wyble of Leonville, Katie Trahan of Ville Platte, and Jenni Trahan of Leonville; and her maternal grandparents, James and Judy Robin of Opelousas. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Anna Trahan. Pallbearers will be Dale Stelly, Scott Charlie, John Bernard, Maxie Zachary, David Crozier, and Nick Miller.
