Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Jessie Thibodeaux, Sr., 67, who passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Ugochukwu Jerome Cletus, SSJ will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Tasey Tolliver Alexander. Gift bearers will be Kimberly Williams Ledet and Tekear Thomas. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. He is survived by his father, Joseph Thibodeaux; companion, Debra Williams; sons, Jessie Thibodeaux, Jr. (Summer) and Jessie Thibodeaux, III (Catherine); daughter, Takisha Solomon; brothers, Wilbert Thibodeaux (Wendy), Joseph Anthony Thibodeaux (Pamela); sisters, Linda Ann Gordon (Iron), Della Marie Angelle, and Norma Lee Calais (John); five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Mae Celestine Thibodeaux; daughter, Danielle Thibodeaux; brother, Whitney Peter Thibodeaux; sister, Georgianna Williams; nephew, Paul Frederick Williams; paternal grandparents, John and Jeanne Fontenette Thibodeaux; and maternal grandparents, Paul Frederick Celestine and Eglena Noel Celestine. Pallbearers will be Terrell Noel, Reginald Gordon, Jeremy Calais, Shannon Ledet, Shaun Angelle, and Dwight Gale. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilbert Thibodeaux, Joseph Anthony Thibodeaux, Iron Gordon Jr., Kevin James Williams, Patrick Williams, and John Neil Calais.
